Habits, gut reactions, and planning

I won the day yesterday; I worked out, got a lot of stuff done around the house, and most importantly, I ate very low carb.  I realize that I actually took the time to sit back and plan what I was going to eat and it worked out.

It’s so cliche-ish but true,

If you fail to plan you plan to fail.  

When I don’t have things planned, I resort to my habits and gut instincts and folks, those are the things that got me where I am today…some good and some bad.  It’s the same for nutrition.

How will I win today?

I had an awesome breakfast.

breakfast 12/4/2016 organic sausage, broccoli, onion, cabbage, and cheese. Seasoned with salt and white pepper.

For today’s lunch/dinner, I’m gonna have a steak salad using the leftover steak from yesterday, and a huge low carb smoothie.  That means I’m going to have to go to costco today to pick up some frozen berries.

Did a urine test using the Ketostix…still not pink.  We’ll get there.

Today’s workout will be a simple 1 hour spin on my bike.
