I’m a physical therapist, a board certified orthopedic specialist practicing sports medicine, a fitness trainer, triathlete, and middle-aged fitness junkie. Getting older, busier, and dealing with life’s issues got the best of my fitness. Now in my 40’s, I tried going back to the things that got me fit in my 2o’s and failed miserably! I experienced some injuries due to compensatory issues brought forth from weakness, mobility issues, and poor movement patterns.
This page is dedicated to the hundreds of thousands of people like myself who are looking to get fit while promoting longevity; I see too many get-fit-quick schemes that do produce results but with risky exercises that often decrease joint longevity and promote future injuries (overuse, joint degeneration, etc.). I want to create a weight-loss/strength and conditioning program that’s simple, safe, and effective. I also want it to be cost effective and longevity based. So here goes!
